"When I first spoke with Don Kennedy at the OEDA, we were already involved in a nationwide site-selection process. We were looking for a labor force that offered talent and depth, a facility that could accommodate our growth goals, and a great community for our employees to live and work in. Our list of specifics was long, and our expectations were high. However, with the help and cooperation of the OEDA, it was easy to find the right solution. As an additional advantage, we were able to extend job opportunities to some talented people who where already being displaced at the site. It was great to plant our feet in a vibrant community, and it was great to save some jobs. Thank you, Don, and your team at the OEDA."

"When our lease came up for renewal at our previous site, we evaluated our location and determined that our company was ready to expand, but we didn't have the incentives nor the ability to do so where we were. Our search for a new location brought us to Orleans County, where we began working with the Orleans Economic Development Agency. In January 2003 we moved into our new 38,000 square-foot, food-grade plant in the Holley Business Park. That spring we added a 25,000 square-foot addition onto the building and completed in that fall. The OEDA helped us setup fire protection systems, found a Governor's Office for Small Cities' low interest loan for us and offered an electricity rate of .013 kilowatts. We could never have had such a successful location move without the assistance of OEDA and look forward to staying and growing in our new home for years to come."

"In 2002 we recognized the need to expand our protective covers company across the Canadian boarder and opened our first U.S. plant in Medina, N.Y. With the assistance of Don Kennedy at the Orleans Economic Development Agency, and the rest of "Team Orleans," we found our present location in Medina that fit all of our needs while also helping the local community by creating jobs for the area. The OEDA assisted our company with wide range of financial assistance in order to make the new plant possible. In our first year we exceeded our expectations and were ready for expansion. Now, two years later, Hinspergers is happy to report that we have doubled our plant with OEDA assistance and plan on increasing our staff in Medina from 30 to 60 by spring of 2004."
